The young golfer will have plenty of high-profile supporters as she makes her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is related to Donald Trump, obtained a tournament invitation to play at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses numerous golf courses and often plays against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa essentially told me to compete and enjoy myself," she continued.

"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on presidential duties, making him rather occupied."

As an amateur, Kai has played in only three events in 2024 and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

However she can get advice from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He stands as the top athlete in the world," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's a superior individual. He suggested me to compete, relax, and go with whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against some of most prominent players in women's golf at this tournament, including world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Officials stated that Kai's presence brings golf to different demographics, especially with youth audiences.
